Crepe wedding cakes

{Photo credits: Sparkle and Hay via Charleston Crepe Company}

A wedding cake doesn't get more unique than 3 tiers of stacked crepes. It's so gorgeous...light and airy; and would pair perfectly with a dusting of powdered sugar or topped with fresh berries.

I love this cake. Take away the tiers and it would be the perfect centerpiece of any brunch buffet.

What's the most unique wedding cake you have ever seen?

  1. I'm drooling over here! I absolutely LOVE crepe cakes. I really wanted to have a Dobosh torte for my wedding cake (the crazy crepe-thin 30 layers kind of cake). It's impressive and incredibly rich, so those tiny wedding-sized servings are actually all you'd ever want to eat. I think I'm going to remake my wedding cake as one for my 10th anniversary party this year.

  9. I love a crepe cake especially with a rich dark chocolate in it. I wanted a cake stand filled with cannolis at my wedding!

  10. I do love crepes, but not for a wedding... but perhaps for a brunch reception it could be quite delightful.

    I think donut cakes are the strangest cakes I've seen... but, a great option for the offbeat couple or for a more casual reception.

  13. Hhhmm.. Tasty! I'm getting married in a span of 6 months, and right now, we're already looking for the perfect wedding cake for us. Also, we are visiting our doctor and dentist to check if we are healthy, and to ask for some tips on how to stay healthy before our big day. =)
