{Sweets Bakeshop cupcake flavors: top row from left to right: Dreamsicle, Berries and Champagne, Breakfast. Bottom row from left to right: Black and White, Cookie Dough, Thyme Honey Walnut. Click here for a description of each flavor.}I LOVE today's giveaway because it is for a local bakeshop that couldn't be sweeter. I walked into Sweets Bakeshop about a month ago to see a huge crystal chandelier hanging above a table with gorgeous displays of cupcakes and macarons. The three mini cupcakes I purchased that day were as delicious as they were pretty. And the people behind the counter were nice, nice, nice!

{A sampling of their adorable mini cupcakes}
Sweets Bakeshop is located on 2042 Marshall Ave in St. Paul and offers daily cupcakes, French macarons, brownies, and blondies. They use natural, local ingredients whenever possible (such as butter from Hope Creamery located in Hope, Minnesota and organic, free-range eggs from Larry Schultz Organic Farm in Owatonna, Minnesota.)

{Cute storefront}

ReplyDeleteThe two cupcakes that I would want to try would be the Peanutbutter Cup (chocolate and peanut butter is my favorite combination) and the Dreamsicle. I've never had a macaroon and I'd love to try one, the Banana one sounds especially delicious.
ReplyDeleteAnyone that knows me knows that popcorn is my favorite food, so the kettle corn cupcake is the one that I want to try.

Southern Belle all the way! How can anyone resist red velvet, let alone in a mini version? I'm with Erin...never have I felt so competitive about cupcakes.
ReplyDeleteToo many to choose from! I would LOVE to try the berries and champagne, snowball (love coconut), and of course the Peanut butter cup. pb is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteI will have to stay true to myself and my love of fire roasted sweets and say S'more cupcakes. Melissa and Erin... It's on. If you do happen to beat me, please take pity and share. ;)
ReplyDeleteYum! The S'mores and the peanut butter cupcakes sound amazing!!
ReplyDeleteThe Feisty Goat, because it has a great name and a great flavor combo - chocolate and caramel! If you haven't tried it, I recommend the breakfast one as interesting and surprisingly tasty.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to try the Breakfast cupcake. There's something about bacon in a cupcake that sounds simply yummy.I've only had the pleasure of trying their banana split cupcake and I was quite impressed. I love how the frosting isn't heavy and of course how it's all local ingredients. Hopefully winning this will allow me (a poor college student) the pleasure to indulge in all the cupcakes Sweets has to offer.
